Dom Vinyard

Product engineer for AI agents

I design and build the product layer around agents: interfaces, workflows, memory, tools, approval systems, and the context infrastructure that lets them do useful work without falling apart.

I’m currently Founding Designer & Hacker-in-Residence at Sauna.ai, building multiplayer agents for knowledge work. My work sits between product design, software engineering, and agent behavior.

My live testbed is Justin: a personal agent with his own app, runtime, memory layer, and operating rules. I use him to explore what agent software feels like when it stops being a chatbot and starts becoming infrastructure. Any time he finds a composable agentic pattern he updates known.life, a registry he created to become more intelligent over time.

I write about the new shape of software: agents as users, context as infrastructure, and the design constraints that emerge when intelligence becomes part of the interface.
